Does anyone know if Mike's playing the national anthem at the Thunderbird's game against Spokane will be on tv or something? I'd love to see that!

From what little I know of the event, I'd imagine the only way it would be on television is if it were on a local station and even then, I know they tend not to show many anthems on TV prior to sporting events unless it's something like a championship or an All-Star game.


www.giventowail.com seems to be the best source for all the low-down -- see their PJ News section -- and they're saying they'll do their best to at least get a recording of the anthem.

Yeah, I'm afraid you're right, I wish I could here what's gonna come out of that. It's weird that the medias wouldn't give it more coverage, it's such a particular and rare event. I guess we would have heard about it already if it were to be broadcasted. Thanks for the link, I'll go and "explore".

Forgive me if you've seen and heard already, but www.theskyiscrape.com now has Mr. McCready's rendition of the American National Anthem (in .mp3, with event pics) as their first item under "News".
