Hello Admin...

Firstly, I hope my selecting an avatar from the CRB Galleries doesn't present any bandwidth issues. If linking to it causes you any problems, please let me know and I will take it down/switch pictures.

Secondly, like the initial poster in the thread, I have a few things I can send you if you'd like, namely a bunch of older articles I tracked down and was wanting to send while the site was "sleeping". You know where to reach me should any of this sound interesting to you!

Thirdly (Hehehe!)... An idea for the site just popped into my head. I probably should ask you about this privately, but if it's okay with you, maybe other people can give their opinion about this... (?) Two sections of CRB that I really love are "Books" and "People Speak". I was wondering if maybe there could be a section about Jeff's musical influences and/or favourite artists? I remember it used to be a topic that a few people asked about on the Board. I guess it could be done in a similar manner to the "Books" page, perhaps, in that we'd outline "who" the band/artist is and then explain Jeff's connection to them. What do you think? I'd be willing to help out with this should you want to make such a thing. Just my idea, of course. You're in charge of things here, and believe me, I'm grateful for that! Thanks!

sarah.. i think your idea is a really good one. the influencing music would be much a better resource if it were grouped together in that way. jeff's personal influences aren't that highly talked about... and as for the music that he is into, he's probably one of the most vocal about bands he listens to. the first i ever heard of sigur ros was reading an interview with him..

(i wouldnt worry about the bandwidth situation)

Thanks as always, Laura! I'm flattered you're interested in the "Influences" idea!

I remember when Jeff first mentioned Sigur Ros as well... and I remember last year when Ed mentioned them during the infamous K-ROCK interview. I guess *someone* musta passed Edward a tape!
