I don't own a record player, either, but I have no qualms with the single coming out only on vinyl. I tend to track the songs down in .mp3 and listen to them that way, meanwhile the tangible record that I get in the mail is sort of an untouchable collectible for me. I'm not the daintiest person in the world, so I would rather not have to take the record out and drop the needle down to play it, and risk damaging it, or harming the sleeve/artwork. I actually keep the vinyls in their original mailing envelopes and only take them out a handful of times per year to look at the art. I think I've only withdrawn the records from their actual sleeves one time apiece.
