Hi, hi! Amy! Long time!!! Glad you had a good time in Italy, seemed to be cool.

I don't know what my mistake was, but when I took note of the David Letterman PJ appearance, I read it would air on Friday the 8th. So (bunch of !#%&*^%%) I missed it!!! But I read yesterday on http://www.theskyiscrape.com/ that they will post it (video) on their site! Many many thanks to them.

And I agree with you, cool hair cut on the part of our mighty Jeff! ;) At first, I thought it was some sort of a mohawk! hehehe! THAT, would have been awesome. And to say that he used to be the excentric one in the band... and it's all but a souvenir, now!

Hi ladies,

Amy... Nice to see you again... Glad you had such a great experience in Italy.

I am ashamed to say I missed Pearl Jam's appearance on "Letterman" as well since their performance occured while I was traveling home from work. I rushed in the door and turned on the TV just in time to see Dave at his desk, coming back from commercial, joking about how "that band Pearl Jam is gonna go far."

As for Jeff's new 'do, I too thought it was a mohawk the first time I saw it. It's not too bad of a look for him, though I do think he bears an inadvertent resemblence to Bart Simpson with that hair!

Thanks for the link! I was FINALLY able to watch it just now!

Awesome stuff!! I really liked Ed's vocal intonations. And of course, a poweful performance by the whole band, as always.

Based on comments I was reading, I assumed the version was very similar to what I'd heard in Boston (the Sept. 28th show), but it was actually quite different, which was in turn, was different than the other pre-Boston versions over the years. I think it's really cool that they seem to be tweaking with it and thereby giving us new versions of it each time out.

Little to no Jeff content in that vid, though, but a sweet, sweet piece of viewing nonetheless.

Hey all,
Firstly, thanks Psycosmic for the link. Beautiful quality, that video! You know what struck me when viewing it? Cohesion to an instinctual level that I've rerely seen in my life. It's true that PJ have been working together for years now, that factor helping tremendously but, many bands acheive that, I mean years together but that doesn't necessarely translate into what I've experienced in viewing PJ's Letterman's performance, you can feel the connection between them all, like if they were sharing one mind to which they all tune themselves onto. So inspiring!
